MELANIE INFINGER – CEO
Melanie gained a deep understanding of nurse navigation while at EduCare, a breast navigator training and patient education company, where she served as director of Business Development for over 10 years. It was during this time that Melanie and Judy Kneece RN, OCN, President of EduCare, recognized the need for software that would aid nurse navigators in managing increasing patient loads, and provide a HIPAA compliant method for nurse navigators to connect with their patients online. In April 2009 Nursenav Oncology launched its SaaS offering, which has quickly become the leading software solution for patient navigation programs across the country. Prior to EduCare, Melanie worked in other areas of healthcare, including a dental management consulting company, and in sales and marketing in the optical industry.
TIM AMMONS – CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Tim’s 20 years of healthcare technology experience, and his passion for creatively solving business problems through software, has quickly positioned Nursenav Oncology’s SaaS offering as the market leader for patient navigation software. During his career, Tim has lead large development and IS teams in the healthcare environment dealing with HIPAA regulations, while driving software products from inception to completion. Previously, he was the Chief Technology Officer for eCast where he lead the development of the company’s SaaS-based EMR and other healthcare-related products. Prior to eCast, he was the Director of IS at Misys Healthcare Systems where he led software development, infrastructure and help desk teams supporting 2500 employees, and was responsible for all corporate IS operations. Tim earned a B.S. degree in Management Science at Duke University, as well as an M.S. degree in Management Information Systems from the University of South Carolina.
ADAM MARCINIEC – SENIOR DEVELOPER/ ANALYST
Adam comes to Nursenav with nearly 20 years of technology experience. Adam has lead software engineering projects in the healthcare, housing and security industries for national and international companies. In his previous position with Adreima, Adam’s development efforts yielded over twenty million dollars in revenue recovery from insurance companies for hospital clients each year. He also developed interfaces for data transfers between hospitals, allowing staff to reclaim time previously spent on complicated manual transfers of PHI. His coding optimization and data automation also doubled the productivity of his team members. Adam earned a B.S. degree in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix and his passion for programming continues after hours as an open source contributor.
MIKE RENT – SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Mike has been working in software development for nearly 20 years in various industries including social media and e-commerce with a large portion of his career dedicated to healthcare. Early in his career, Mike developed an electronic billing system to produce health care claims based on a provider’s scheduled appointments and track the resulting receivables and payments for Unicentric, a company focused on non-profit and not-for-profit social service organizations. More recently, he worked with Adreima developing internal tools for Transfer DRG and Charge Audit analysis as well as working with their public facing client reporting portal.
ANNA HAUSER – QUALITY ANALYST
Anna comes to Nursenav with more than twenty years of experience in the healthcare industry. As the Software Quality Analyst, Anna assists with Nursenav software client support, acts as project manager for projects, and trains new clients on software workflows and functionality. Early in her career, Anna led operational and technical project teams in practice management software installation for physician offices. Most recently as Revenue Cycle Director at NorthShore University HealthSystem, Anna planned and directed the overall workflow design, implementation and compliance of the business operation for the Medical Group. Anna has extensive experience in process redesign, creating efficiencies through implementing technology, documenting workflows and developing training programs for teams. Anna is a small business owner and earned a B.S. degree in Management at the University of Illinois at Chicago, as well as an MBA from National-Louis University.
MINDY WILSON – DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
In this role, she ensures organizational effectiveness by providing leadership over financial functions. While working with the management team, she assists in the development and implementation of organizational strategies, and policies and practices. She oversees diverse operational areas including vendor and contract management, company communications, facilities management and human resources. Mindy is also the Director of Operations for Nursenav’s sister-company, EduCare.
